- Introduction – MCA Department
The Master of Computer Applications (MCA) Department was established in 2010 with a vision to prepare students for the ever-evolving IT industry. The department goes beyond traditional classroom teaching by offering special lectures, seminars, industrial visits, and hands-on training, ensuring students are well-prepared for real-world challenges.
A major highlight of the department is its student association, which organizes an annual National-Level Technical Symposium. This event attracts participants from various colleges across the state and includes activities such as paper presentations, debugging competitions, and software development contests, offering students a platform to showcase their skills.
The department boasts excellent infrastructure, including a well-equipped computer lab with 60 dedicated systems loaded with essential software and a seminar hall with modern audiovisual facilities.
Our faculty members are highly qualified, actively engaged in research and continuous learning. They support students with innovative projects, and provide training in both technical and soft skills, keeping students updated with the latest developments in the field.
We offer a 2-year full-time MCA program aimed at training graduates to meet the increasing demands of the Information Technology industry and help them build successful careers.
