- Introduction – Construction Engineering and Management (CEM)
Construction Engineers play a vital role in designing, planning, and executing the infrastructure that shapes our world—such as buildings, bridges, highways, airports, stadiums, and dams. Successful professionals in this field combine strong math, science, and computer skills with creativity, problem-solving abilities, and a passion for building.
The CEM program prepares students with core engineering knowledge while offering opportunities to gain additional expertise in areas like mechanical engineering, environmental engineering, management, and Building Information Modeling (BIM).
A key highlight of the program is the three paid 12-week internships that each student completes, typically during summer. These internships provide real-world experience across various roles—from field operations to project management—and are available both locally and internationally.
Students have interned not only across India but also globally, including countries like Norway and participated in community development projects in places like Ecuador.
Thanks to its hands-on training and strong industry connections, the CEM program boasts a 100% job placement rate, with many students receiving multiple job offers even before graduation.
